An acute care staffing organization is seeking a Critical Care NP/PA in Atlanta, Georgia for a high-acuity ICU environment. The role involves collaborating with attending physicians to provide evidence-based care to critically ill patients while performing advanced assessments, documentation, and procedures.

About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Night
- Schedule: 3 12-hour shifts weekly
- Hours: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- Setting: Inpatient ICU
Responsibilities:
- Manage critically ill patients in a high-acuity ICU setting
- Collaborate with attending physicians on dynamic plans of care throughout the shift
- Perform ongoing patient assessments and implement appropriate interventions
- Complete order entry and documentation in Cerner EMR, including histories and physicals, consultations, follow-up notes, and procedure notes
- Interpret diagnostic testing, communicate with ICU nursing staff, and participate in multidisciplinary rounds
- Perform invasive procedures, including central line and arterial line insertions, in accordance with hospital credentialing standards
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Acute care certification required for Nurse Practitioner candidates
- Minimum of 1-2 years of ICU experience as an advanced practice provider
- Experience performing central line and arterial line insertions
- Ability to meet hospital procedural credentialing requirements, including case log submission
Desired Skills:
- Experience working in a multi-specialty medical-surgical ICU
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
- Experience working in a collaborative, high-acuity critical care environment
