A reputable health services organization in Newark, New Jersey is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA), specializing in Neurosurgery. This role involves supporting both inpatient and outpatient settings in a flexible work environment.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9am to 5pm
- Setting: Inpatient / Outpatient
Responsibilities:
- Conducting inpatient neurosurgery consults
- Providing outpatient clinic coverage
- Performing minor bedside procedures, including suturing and drain removal
- Collaborating closely with the NJMS neurosurgical group
- Utilizing EPIC EMR for all clinical documentation
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree
- Active NJS Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license
- Board Eligible
- Experience in Neurosurgery or related Surgical specialty
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR
- Strong communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
