A behavioral health program is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide inpatient coverage on an adult mental health and substance-abuse unit. This is a daytime locum assignment with a Monday–Friday schedule and no call.
About the Opportunity:

- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Setting: Inpatient behavioral health
- Patient Population: Adults (mental health & substance abuse)
Responsibilities:
- Managing adult patients in an inpatient behavioral health setting
- Conducting assessments and follow-up evaluations
- Supporting patients with mental health and substance-related conditions
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team
- Documenting patient progress and treatment plans
Qualifications:
- Relevant clinical experience in Behavioral Health
- Master’s Degree
- CT Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license
- Active DEA registration
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Desired Skills:
- Experience in Inpatient Psychiatry
- Suboxone certification
- Familiarity with Interdisciplinary Behavioral Health models
- Strong patient-centered approach
