A New Jersey-based health services network is actively seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their Neuro Critical Care team.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Full-time
- Hours: 6:30am to 6:30pm or 6:30pm to 6:30am
- Setting: Inpatient
Responsibilities:
- Managing patient volume of 8–20 patients per shift
- Performing required procedures like central line, arterial line, and lumbar puncture
- Liaising with intensivists and other APPs during each shift
- Ensuring high-quality care in a fast-paced environment
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in a Critical care setting
- NJS Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license
- Proficiency in Central Line and Arterial Line procedures
- Strong decision-making skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team
- Attention to detail
- Adaptability to a dynamic work environment
Desired Skills:
- Advanced Degree in a related field
- Critical Care certification
- Experience in Neurocritical Care settings
