A health services network in Tennessee is seeking a new Accounts Payable Analyst to focus on financial operations and vendor management in Memphis.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9am to 5pm
- Setting: Hybrid (3 days onsite; 2 days remote)
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring all invoices are accurately processed and paid promptly
- Confirming the accuracy of purchase orders to avoid discrepancies
- Keeping detailed records of all outgoing payments and vendor transactions
- Working closely with procurement, operations, and finance teams to resolve any issues
- Implementing AP automation and other tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of relevant Accounting experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use technology for AP automation
- Experience in Financial Regulations. Compliance and Budgeting
- Ability to analyze payment data for budgeting and forecasting purposes
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
Desired Skills:
- Advanced Degree in Finance or related field
- Certification in Accounts Payable (CAPA)
- Proficiency with Accounting software
