A New Jersey services organization is currently seeking a new Accounting Policies & Procedures Specialist to focus on maintaining accounting policies and being engaged in research efforts.
- Setting: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
- Driving accounting policy and procedure development
- Overseeing annual accounting policy reviews and updates
- Monitoring FASB and NAIC activities
- Conducting GAAP and SAP research projects
- Ensuring compliance with records and information management policies
- 5+ years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Knowledge of GAAP, SEC regulations, SAP
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage resources for joint projects
